Bad Communication

I set up the transport through a company called Montway who contracted with CAA Transport. I was happy with the customer service that I received from Montway, as well as the driver who drove my car. I was not however, happy with the customer service that I received from CAA Transport. I was told on several occasions when calling to check on the progress of my vehicle that it was to arrive at the destination on November 27th, when I arrived via air to my location, I called the company to get a delivery time and a current update. I was told that the vehicle would be delivered that same day, and that I should call the driver for more details. When I called the driver, he stated that he had not yet left the origin. I was confused, and thought maybe I had been given the wrong driver information in an oversight. When I called, I spoke to someone who said they would look into it and when I received a call back the man I spoke to was very rude. He would not let me speak without talking over me, and when I asked why I was not contacted regarding the delay he stated "we have a lot of customers, we don't have time to call everyone each time there is a delay". I could not believe that someone would speak to a customer like this. I understand that trucking companies have delays, I even understand that I was shipping a car during not only holiday season, but winter and that delays were to be expected. However, being told that my car would take 7 to 10 days at most from time of pick up and then not receiving it until 15 days later without any communication makes me NEVER want to use this company again. I do not recommend them. The only thing that makes it all ok is that my car was delivered without any damage and in the same condition that it was picked up in. If you are looking to transport your vehicle, please keep looking. Do not use CAA, they do not care about their customers.
