Doubled the quote

We (Jeff L and Heidi Q) needed to transport a vehicle from the mountains of Colorado (Vail area) to Cape Cod Massachusetts. My man took calls from about 25 different auto transport companies before landing on Big Ben's Auto. All the calls quoted different numbers, very different from each other. We chose Big Ben's Auto because we were told that all these companies will give you a quote, but that the quotes are not guaranteed. We believed in the reliability of the company because they had a legitimate website and made us put a $200 deposit down and also made us DOCUsign an agreement form, which seemed to further legitimatize the business. We were quoted $900 two weeks prior to the move date and agreed. We actually had cheaper bids in the $700s but went with what we believed to be a safe option because of Big Ben's website. We tried to contact them one week later to confirm the pick up date and they said they would get back to us. Two days later, Patrick said he is doing the best he can, he will get back to us. Two more days later he said he was "on it." We had to drive our other vehicle across the country in two days and still had no confirmation about our other vehicle's pick up, and Patrick said "it's not looking good." We had to leave the keys in the unlocked car in our parking spot at our townhouse and just hope that the vehicle would eventually end up in Massachusetts. Our landlord was giving us a hard time about the vehicle sitting in the designated parking spot. When driving 2060 miles across the country, you already have plenty enough to worry about. About 5 days after we had already driven away from Colorado, still on our way to Massachusetts, we were called, they found a driver. But now the price was $1800. What a bunch of scam artists. They kept saying that nobody would drive into the mountains to pick up the car because it was too dangerous. Then why did you accept the quote?? We could have easily went with 1 of 25 other auto transport companies that contacted us. And now we see that you are located in Florida?? No wonder you couldn't drive into the mountains because you were located nowhere near us and should never have led us to believe this was a good and reputable company. Are your good reviews only from clients that needed transport in Florida to Florida? Then stick with that. Y’all doubled the price?? Cuz ya could?? Where’d the first quote come from?? So unimpressed with how we were treated. Scam Scam Scam artists to the MAX. WORST EXPERIENCE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE
