Getting my truck to my home

I purchased a truck from a friend in N.Carolina and had to arrange it to be picked up and shipped to NY. I researched a few carriers and the reviews for Bears Transport stood out. Most said Liz and Frank were honest sounding and straight forward and not "slick" sounding!
The reviews I read seemed real and honest because let's face it, nothing is perfect! But even folks with any issues wrote that Liz and Frank were available to speak with and took care of business right away to resolve any problems.
Based on those reviews I took a chance and hired them to move my truck. I was concerned because I have been in the auto trade for many years and know how things can "happen" but at least I had a feeling that if something went wrong, they would take steps to correct it.
So I hired them and we moved forward with the job. The first truck that went to pick up my truck was not acceptable, that is, the guy wanted to pull my truck behind his flatbed for 3 hours to a redenzvous point with a larger carrier and then load it onto it. My friend who I bought the truck from was my "eyes" on that end and called me when the first guy showed up with the plan to pull my truck behind his.
I spoke to the driver and told him he could not take the truck and then called Liz and advised of same. Liz was very concerned as she had no idea this guy was going to try and do this.
She agreed about my concerns and said she would get right on it and find another carrier.
Well, the very next morning she had the second guy at my friends house in NC ready to get the truck. My friend called and said the guy and his car carrier "looked real good" and my truck was going to be one of two cars on the carrier and the guy was going to bring it directly to me in NY.
I spoke to the driver and he confirmed same so we went ahead with the job.
The driver called me a few hours later to advise his whereabouts and assured me all was going well. Driver said my truck would be at my house in NY at 9am the next day.
I called the driver at 7am the following day and he told me he was just getting on the road and would be at my house shortly. He arrived right on time and my truck was safe and sound.
NOT A SCRATCH!!! The driver was polite and pleasant and I couldn't be happier.
I wrote to Liz and Frank a couple of days later to thank them for their superior service.
As far as the first tow guy they sent, I believe it was not their fault for the problem.
Liz tries to get the job done quickly and safely and when she spoke to the first driver, I don't believe he told her his plans to move my truck. Liz made sure with the next guy before sending him and all went well. Again, nothing is perfect and sh*t happens! But, like the other reviewers who had issues that were handled, my issues too were handled to my satisfaction.
I would not hestitate to use Bears Transport again and again.
