My First Car Shipping Experience

My Infiniti I30 was scheduled for pickup on Monday 11/19/2012. As of Saturday night I had not received a call from the broker (EZ Transport) or the driver, but I don't sweat the small stuff as things would probably work out. On Sunday morning I received a call from the driver (Amir or Amirani) asking if he could come today anytime. We agreed to 2:00 pm. Good thing I had a couple of hours as my battery died that morning and I had to call AAA for a new battery. Amir wanted me to meet him in a nearby shopping center, but I insisted that the main street near my house was fine. He arrived about 2:15 and loaded my car on top. I gave him a tip, and off he went saying that he should be in NJ around Saturday. No updates were received until he called my girlfriend in NJ on Sunday of the following week asking if he could deliver the car around 3:00 pm. The car arrived safe and sound, and she gave him a tip and some muffins that she baked. He apologized for the delay? in delivery as nobody wanted their car delivered on Thanksgiving which caused him to lose a day.

I would strongly recommend this service, but don't know if you can book directly from Avanti Auto Transport or have to go through a broker like EZ Transport.
