After taking the plunge of comparing transport companies and enduring a gazillion emails and phone calls to compare quotes I was happy to get a referral to AutoZipper. My daughter is out in college in CA and thankfully another friend of hers had shipped with Brian from the New England area. Word of mouth is always the best. Brian was very polite and sweet over the phone and not at all pushy. The price was right in the middle compared with others.
Most importantly did not ask for a credit card# or for me to "eSign" a contract. I was having the car fixed before I could even begin to pick a date that worked on both ends and he said call me when your ready. When I was ready he had someone available in less than a week to come get the car. Abraham came and very professionally and politely filled out the forms and my daughter's VW was the first on the truck. He came later in the evening to fit my schedule. I texted a picture of her car on the rig to my daughter with an "It's on the way" caption. It was picked up on a Thursday and arrived the next Tuesday. Abraham called my daughter to give her the time it would arrive at a friend's parent's house, so she could drive over from the campus.
The car was dirty from travel and being on the bottom of the rig, but a trip to car wash fixed that.
Brian was always on the other end of phone if I had question...such as how to send the money to my daughter who is a freshman and doesn't have a CA bank acct. yet. He followed up to see if all went well and to inquire about how I was treated by Abraham. He then called a few weeks later to see if all was still going well and asked if I would mind to post a review.
I am more than happy to I said. The moment I heard Brian's voice I knew this was a reputable company that wasn't going to pester me. I wish I knew what Brian looked like because he honestly sounded like someone I would like to meet...like a family friend. Thanks Brian, it was a pleasure!
