I needed to move my daughter's car from Washington to Texas. She is pregnant and was stressing over her move. Her husband is in the service and wasn't able to make arrangements. She contacted a company called Agape Auto Transport and told them she was leaving on December 14th and needed the car picked up by the 13th. They told her they needed to leave a window of time open prior to that date to make sure they could line up a truck. They took a $150.00 deposit and a few days later told her they had lined up a truck for December 3rd, a full 10 days before she was leaving! She was living in a small town and there isn't a public transportation system. She had doctor appointments and other things she had to get done before moving back to Texas. She was very upset and I told her I would call them, which I didi. The customer service rep wouldn't budge and said that for another $250.00 they could get closer to the desired date. She said it was a different package. I say it was a bait and switch. Funny how the date was a possibility. Needless to say, I told her that it was unacceptable and to cancel the transport. I did some research and read some reviews on this site. I decided to call AutoStar Transport & Logistics and spoke to Sean. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and worked with our tight deadline. They required a deposit, but Sean didn't collect it until he had secured a truck for our time restrictions. I was worried about reading how trucks don't always show up on time or not at all. If they didn't show up, my daughter and her husband would be gone and nobody would be able to hand the car off. Luckily, Sean would check on it and a dispatcher would give us updates. They picked the car up from the kid's hotel and delivered it just down the street, which was as close as they could get with a long truck. The car was dirty, which was to be expected. the drivers were delayed 10 hours by snow in Utah. Sean made a potential logistical headache an easy process. I would recommend them to anyone.
