I had to submit this review again, I submitted it last week but against my better judgement I removed it after talking to Michelle from Auto Transport 123 and being promised that I would receive a partial refund if I removed the review. I figured I need a new battery for my car after it was in their possession after pickup, so why not use the refund to get it. But of course I should have known that the company is nothing but scam artist and I shouldn't trust a word that they say. Needless to say it has been over a week and I have still not received any funds from them. Auto Transport 123 even contacted transport reviews in attempt to block my review expressed that I was not a customer and my review was not valid. The length this company is will to go in order to ensure they don't receive any negative reviews, wow!! Who knows how many other negative reviews were removed after some type of promise made. I will forward my review as well as the numerous negative reviews that I have discovered on Yelp about Auto Transport 123 to my Commanding Officer and well as Naval Base San Diego's Command Master Chief, and all my other contacts in leadership positions to get the word out on this company and get them placed on the list of companies and establishments that are off limits to Sailors and we must steer clear of.
Where do I begin? This is my first time writing a review, so you know that this had to be a horrible experience. I've been in the military for 20 years, so I'm used to dealing with bull!! Let me start with Anthony, he flat out told me that they were not a broker and that they owned their own trucks, which turned out to be a lie! They brokered my car to a local company here in San Diego called ADZ Transport Inc., turned out to be a catastrophe. I was told that my vehicles would be picked up on Monday the 27th of June, I spoke with Anthony on the 28th and he assured me that the driver would be contacting me and would pick up my vehicles either that night or first thing the next morning, which would be the 29th. My vehicles were not picked up until the morning of the 30th, and after speaking with the dispatch of ADZ I was told that he only picked up the contract on the evening of the 29th, which means Anthony lied again! I had an expected delivery date of 6 July, which means I am expecting to hear from the driver or someone on the 5th to set up delivery, the 5th comes and goes without any contact. I call auto transport 123 and of course they don't have any answers, I was told to continue to try the driver and they would also try and get back to me. After a few unsuccessful calls to the driver as well as ADZ I finally give up and call auto transport back, I get the same response, that they were unsuccessful in contacting the company or driver but they left a message. I get a call in the evening of the 6th from the ADZ saying that there truck broke down in AZ and my cars would be delayed 2 days, which would push delivery to the 8th. I totally understand that equipment breaks and vehicles breaks down, but what I didn't understand was a vehicle breaking down in AZ which is only a 5 hour trip from San Diego if my cars should be in Texas by now ??? The 8th comes and goes and I don't hear anything from the driver or ADZ. At this point I go the Auto transport 123's website to utilize the track my vehicle option, of course that doesn't work, lie #3. I call the 1800 number and select the check on the status of my order option and it goes to voicemail, I select option to speak to dispatch, it goes to voicemail, finally I'm fed up and select option to speak with a sales rep, so I can speak to someone, of course she is rude and tells me to call back and do the exact same things that I have already done. She rudely explains that she is only in sales and can't help me at all, and that she can't direct me to anyone who can help. At this point I am really upset, because I have two classic cars that are unaccounted for and I can't get a hold of anyone from ADZ or Auto Transport. The entire weekend goes by without any contact from anyone. I finally get a hold of someone at Auto Transport 123 on Monday morning the 11th and of course they don't have any answers, they offered to put a call out to the company and get some answers. I am finally contacted by ADZ Monday afternoon explaining that their truck is back on the road from Arizona and I should expect delivery on the morning of Wednesday the 13th. My cars were finally delivered on the afternoon of the 13th. The driver explained that he picked my cars up from San Diego, not Arizona on Monday morning which was the 11th. No one can explain to me what were my cars doing in San Diego for almost two weeks, ADZ refuses to take my calls and Auto Transport 123 has not gotten back to me with any answers. My white leather seats were covered in dirt and oil, it's obvious that my cars were used for joyriding or who knows what else. After speaking with Jeanine on the 15th I was promised answers and some money back for my troubles, I still have not heard anything back from her or any one else at Auto Transport 123. I've moved cross country a few times and collect classic cars, so this was not my first time shipping a vehicle, but this was my worst experience by far! I will leave anyone who reads this post with one last warning. Learn from my mistakes and steer clear from this company!!
