After placing my order on Thursday, June 18th, I received confirmation on June 19th of my order. I was told I was within the 48 hours window to have it picked up on Saturday however it was not picked up until Monday. When I placed the order with the broker, I was told the driver would be in constant contact with me throughout the trip so I knew where my car was. The only reason I know it was picked up on Monday is because I called the dealer, I never once received a call of any sort from Auto Trans Group telling me where my car was unless I called them.

It is a 3-4 day trip from Florida to Chicago and was told my vehicle would be here Thursday, June 25th. After June 25th rolled around and it was 5 p.m. I had still heard nothing about my car other than it would be there before the day ends (I know what that means now). I then called at about 5 to find out what was going on only to be told by Boris (the truck driver) that his truck broke down somewhere in Indiana..something that would have been nice to have known since I was leaving on Friday for a weekend trip. You would think this kind of information would be communicated to a paying customer, especially one that needed their car there Thursday evening.

I ended up cancelling my weekend trip because I was told it would take a day to fix and I'd get my car Friday, then on Friday I was told Saturday....needless to say it was Monday at 10:30 p.m. when my car arrived, waking up the entire housing development where I live with the loud running semi truck engine and banging of metal in order to get my car off of the truck.

I understand that things happen and that vehicles break down but I feel like I was continually being led to believe that I was getting my car the next day even though they had no idea what was going on. They also were only a few hours from their hub so I can't understand why they weren't able to get another truck out there to take the cars to where they needed to be.

Then upon inspection I found that a piece of my bumper was missing (a cover for a tow hook) and it couldn't be found. It was there prior to shipping and I was told by the driver that it would be paid for however upon calling the company, I was told by the owner they do not cover these types of parts. Boris attempted to take the one in the front out and was unable to so its not like they just fall out. I have since replaced it myself with a $16 piece from Ebay however its the principal of the matter that they lost something and weren't willing to admit it and replace it. If Boris comes through and I get a check, I will certainly update my review to indicate that.

Overall, I couldn't be more displeased with the service I received from Auto Trans Group. For all the headache including the missed trip, they only discounted my shipping by $50 which is less than 10% of the price. While I didn't expect free delivery, I did expect a genuine apology from someone other than Boris. I've yet to be contacted by Auto Trans Group about my experience and will probably never hear from them.
