Recently I bought a car out of state for the first time. I had to have it shipped from Chicago to East TN. The dealership offered shipping but with all the time put in to finding this vehicle (literally the only one I could find for sale in the U.S.) I decided to use a third party shipping company. Well that became exhausting rather fast so I turned to Auto Shipping Group after having a better understanding of how finding someone to deliver a vehicle works, especially during the Covid era, people not wanting to work while getting unemployment, the gasoline "shortage*. It was a damn nightmare. So I contacted Auto Shipping Group, got an estimate, and figured that everything seemed good. Picture this: a person (me) dealing with a lot of people via phone only about an expensive vehicle (ship) and now I have to do this with yet one more person. Begging whatever god that exists to listen to my prayers and please end this. I just want this vehicle delivered now. Enter Travis. Now I am not insinuating he is some angel or even something else more sinister. I don't know. But Travis was too quick. The man performed his job too fast and too proficiently. I was not prepared. The dealership was not prepared. Nobody knew that action would take place so quickly. I had settled down for a rest. The dealership mentioned something about detailing the car. Travis calls and says he has someone available to pick up the car. Yeah, alright you mysterious ninja, I'll bet. Well then the dealership wasn't even prepared. So now I am crestfallen. Asking again to whatever is out there: "Why have you forsaken me!". I hadn't the time to be encumbered by so much with this vehicle existing in some unknown circumstance. Truly my sanity was being washed away as the rain fell down upon the roof of uncertainty. But, like a knight in shimmering armor, Travis flanks the open front and engages the situation with tactical precision, striking like lightning. Lightning does strike twice. A cunning master, Travis squared away the situation while behaving in a manor most like a gentleman should. Acute. Stout of spirit. Strong. Patient. He did it. Perhaps it was me and my lack of faith. But Travis broke the line, whilst I felt almost defeated and ready to surrender. The man is nothing less than a hero who will forever immortal within this nightmare saga of vehicle acquisition. Bards will sing of him to kings. Grunts will build legends as they hunker down in the sand and dirt. If ever whispered, lovers will be emboldened to seek him. We will carry on!
