Why did he get paid when I did all the work?

Communication with subcontracted shipping company was atrocious. Caused $100+ in taxi fare so we could get to airport. Constantly given wrong info about when/where/how shipper would arrive. Told, "it's your problem, you need to just compromise with them to get your car."

Jason...As a company we ask for fair feedback from every customer when it comes to rating our shipping services. In most cases folks are fair with their comments and we don't argue that point. However once in a while a negative review such as yours can be used to help future customers understand the ins and outs of what we do. In your case a truck was assigned to pick you up a week in advance for the first available load date you said it could go on the truck. On that date our truck was sitting on the side of the road waiting to come to your residence to load you. You, in an effort to have your vehicle until just hours before your flight left changed the date for pickup with the Carrier until Monday. The great thing is we were able to accommodate that and they scheduled to pick you up after the weekend. You called me on that re-scheduled date and said you would like the carrier to pick your vehicle at the Hotel you were staying at in Tukwila instead of your residence in Issaquah. We worked that out too and the carrier with the new address you provided for the Hotel called you an hour in advance to pick you up. You stated at that time (1 pm in the afternoon) that they couldn't pick up the vehicle until after 5 pm. The carrier then told you he would come to your original address and load as they have a trucking schedule to keep, cars to pick up and deliver etc. Alas they picked up your vehicle at your home that afternoon and apparently you had to pay for cab fair to take your family to the hotel by Sea Tac as your flight was leaving the next morning. All of us, myself, the dispatcher, and driver for our trucking company communicated with you throughout, gave you multiple options while providing what I will say, backed by more than 6 1/2 years of working for this company, exceptional customer care that you would not have received from anyone else based upon your constant changes to your schedule for pickup. Your vehicle was picked up on time and delivered a day early for the quoted rate, even after we continually changed the load schedule you gave us to meet you and your families needs. UNFAIR of you to post this...not even close to what transpired. Greg Bailey
