I 've used only one trucking company in the past, unfortunately they were not going to be in Florida for another couple of weeks, So i was left with trying someone new, after numerous quotes and visting websites,I decided to go with AutoShippers America,Their website states door to door service..well.. what i got was my car being dropped off at a terminal in Quincy Ma....(about 2 hours away), and the worst thing is someone DROVE my car from Quincy to my house !!!!! I dont care if they are insured, how do I know how my car was driven? I'm expecting a truck to pull up and what i got was some twenty-something year old kid getting out of my car!!! I asked him "where is your truck?" he stated that they do not allow big trucks on residential streets, well how about meeting me at a known place like a home depot or better yet, my usual trucking company meets me at the movie theatres...BE AWARE OF WHAT DOOR TO DOOR MEANS, I would hate to see someone go thru what i went thru....

ASA does not use terminals and does indeed provide door to door service when possible. Due to heavy equipment restrictions imposed in some cities, this car was taken, not to a terminal, but to the trucking company's headquarters for safe keeping- pending arrangements for delivery. The customer was then fully informed and it was in fact he who approved that it be driven to his house.
