I had purchased a 1979 280zx in North Dakota on 11/21/09 and needed to ship it to my home in Florida. After shopping around a bit to find the best price I decided to go with Around the Globe Auto Transport with a quote of $699. Many times on the phone I was informed by the representative, Jason, that my price was to be $699. Like a fool I gave my credit card number out believing that I would not be charged the deposit of $190 until I had signed a contract that would be e-mailed to me. When I received the contract the quote price was for $900! Of course I did not sign the contract and got back on the phone immediately with my dispatcher to deny the quote. The very next day I was billed the deposit. I spent 2 days arguing that I did not want to go with the company and that I wanted my money back. I also have the bank trying to take my money back on terms that my card was charged without my permission. To this day when I call AGAT I hear, "Thank you for calling Caesar Mollina" and there is never an answer. I don't know what is going on with this company and why I cannot get a new contact number or get through to the one that I have. Please save your hard earned money and stay away from Around the Globe Auto Transport. There honest companies out there and this is not one of them.
