Car shipment was perfect, but gas voucher is weird.

They quoted me $850 to ship my car from Washington State to Virginia, which was the lowest of about 20 offers I received, and since they offered a $500 gas voucher in addition I picked them immediately. A few days before my car was to be picked up, they called and said the carrier they found wanted an extra $100. I declined and said I'd wait for someone else later in the week because I was pretty flexible with my shipping schedule. A few days later they called back to schedule a pickup for the next day, a Thursday night. The two men who picked it up arrived right on schedule, loaded it into their enclosed carrier (I had expected it to be an open air carrier- what a pleasant surprise!), and I didn't expect to hear from them for at least a week. It arrived the following Tuesday evening, which means they had a total of three business days of driving time. Those two guys drove 24 hours a day across the country. I was AMAZED at how quickly it arrived. There were no damages at all, and they even agreed to drop it off at a different location at the last minute. I was so so so impressed with them.

I called about a week later to inquire about the gas voucher, and the woman I talked to said she'd drop it in that day's mail. When it arrived it was actually a form to request up to $300 of rebates- every time I spend $100 on gas, I get $25 back until it adds up to $300. I knew it was something weird like that, but it was supposed to have been $500. I called to get that part corrected and couldn't get through to anyone yesterday, and today the phone number doesn't work.

So the car shipping part was awesome- couldn't have been better. The gas voucher may or may not work; I don't know at this point.
