Who needs to pay $175 for total aggravation and very poor follow up and customer dis-service & response

I transported 2 vehicles from SF, CA to Raleigh, NC through Angels Transport of Redding, CA and placed the order directly with the owner Dina. She was pleasant, read back the order along with the pick up/drop off details, contact info, numbers and so on. When I hung up I felt good that I was in good hands with that off my long list of things to do in moving my family & home cross country from San Francisco to Raleigh, NC.

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!! from the very first contact to schedule pick up of the 1st vehicle most every detail of the order and contacts WRONG. The ship to addresses were consistenly wrong, the contact for pick up and drop off were wrong even after numerous calls to correct and confirm. My first car arrived in 4 days and at 2am in the morning!! We were told if we did not wait up to receive the car by the carrier (Riverbluff Transport, Fayetteville,NC) they would charge an additional $150 redelivery charge or I could arrange to pick it up at their terminal 200 mlles away. Hold on...I paid for delivery to my destination and would expect it arrive during normal waking hours, not 2am in the morning or else!! My sister who offered to do this favor didn't get to bed until 3:30am that morning.

During all of this,Angel Transport was impossible to reach since they sometimes answer the phones between 8am and 5pm Mon-Friday. Most of the time you get the answering machine and a call back 24-36 hours later. And... I paid $175 service fee for this? Do your self a favor and deal direct with an owner operator when transporting you vehicle. Don't waste your time or money with these brokers/middleman or woman who simply post the shipment for bid on Car Movers.com and place it with the cheapest transporter who wants that particular shipping lane.

I won't bore you with the details of the 2nd auto shipment when I refused to load my car with the carrier who was taking 4-5 days vacation in which my car would sit on his truck in Tuscon,AZ delaying the delivery of my car. For that Angels charged my Amex $100 for a rescheduling fee which I did not agree too, nor authorize. In the end my cars did arrive safely but without anxiety having dealt with the customer dis-service department at Angels Transport in Redding,CA.
