After initial delay

Receiver was told pickup Wed-Thurs; message to sending end was Tues-Wed. But pick-up didn't actually happen until 7PM Friday. Driver did call sender and explained delay, but the chosen hour was awkward. Sender noted the minimal road clearance of the trailer and knowing that the delivery address was on a mountain road alerted receiver (including a photo of the loaded truck) of the need to find a more suitable delivery site. Perhaps Angel should try to pay attention to that sort of detail.

The Motion Auto Carriers driver called about 36 hours before delivery and asked if a 5AM delivery time was o.k. That's a bit early but we said o.k. Driver also asked us to text the GPS location of the delivery site. We sent the driver a text message with revised (flatland) location for drop off, and guidance of local routes to avoid with the low clearance trailer. Driver arrived only 15 minutes late. 5AM would have been too dark to do a proper inspection, but the extra time gave adequate light. Driver was pleasant and efficient, wasted no time, but didn't pressure my inspection. No problems found except road dirt from being in the bottom back spot while driving through rain.

While we appreciate the very prompt delivery and fair price of $1300, 1830 miles in approximately 57 hours doesn't leave much time for sleeping. We worry about highway safety.
