Knowing absolutly ZERO about how this process worked, we contacted brokers for quotes nearly 3 months in advance. We were able to lock in a fair price early, which was great. Talking with Violet, she assured me that everything was going to go to plan even after we changed the vehicle make, model and year, even when we changed the approximate destination. (A fault of planning so far ahead, sorry guys!)

We were promised a phone call about half-way till the time we had the scheduled pickup and it was difficult to get someone on the phone for about 3 days. The nervousness set in and it continued until the driver actually called us to confirm. Although the broker couldn't give me confirmation on several things, final pricing, the actual date and time of pickup, etc. all was to plan in the end thanks to the driver that was contracted to move our vehicle. He was very communicative and accomodating.

When the car showed up, no damage, on time and right to the location requested. Thank goodness! Overall, the pickup, transport and drop off went smooth...but before we were contacted by the driver, we were a little nervous about the whole thing. Not knowing anything about the process/business, I'm glad everything worked out and would use Ameristar again. The only black mark was the inability of Ameristar to confirm the dates and times from the start, which got us nervous and the lower score.
