Before transporting my 1968 Mustang from Florida to Ohio, I did lots of research including reading reviews on this site. I've come to believe that no business has a 100% track record (including every company I've worked for). I knew that ACAM was a broker that contracted drivers, which I did not have a problem with. I think what matters is the drivers they choose to contract, and the driver they assigned to my car was superb.
Brooke at ACAM was great from start to finish. She kept me informed about the pick-up and delivery dates, and provided an update on the car's status when I called. I was in no hurry and didn't need the car delivered on an exact date. However, the driver picked up and delivered exactly when ACAM said he would.
The driver, Dave from Worldwide Transportation, was a pleasure to deal with. He's a "car guy" and made us feel very confident that our car was in good hands. He called to give us a heads-up before picking up the car and before delivering it. Dave also said that Brooke provided better service to her customers than many dispatchers he dealt with.
Overall, ACAM provided fantastic service for such an affordable price. I'm so glad I didn't go with one of the more expensive transporters because I couldn't have possibly received better service (unless they washed and waxed my car before dropping it off. Ha, ha.) I would highly recommend ACAM and will use them again.
