I used a website that provided multiple responses and opportunities for a quote without having to initially contact each Broker. I needed a 70 mile transport of a low mileage corvette in open transport on a Saturday. America's Auto Transport was the first broker to call.

Keep in mind you deal with the Broker first, then the Transporter. Many others called and/or provided email offers to quote...then I started reading the negative issues many have had with car transportation.

AAT proactively contacted me more than once, but not in a heavy handed pushy way. I was concerned that the move was going to be a nightmare and AAT offered to put me in direct contact with the Owner/Operator Transporter they wanted to use. It was a good discussion and I felt it was going to be as good as it could be...IT WAS EXCELLENT. The carrier that AAT chose was extremely ethical, said what they were offering to do and then did it.

One caution, if you pinch pennies you could have been disappointed. The initial discussion with AAT indicated a price of $195. The final price (openly disclosed before final acceptance of the contract) turned out to be $225.
