Lousy Transport Service

I dealt with Victor and George at AAT. The up-front part of booking the transport went well and I have to admit they did get my car transported quickly. No issues with that. The car was scheduled to be delivered at 9:00 a.m. on a specified date. I finally got in touch with the trucker around 10:30 a.m. He told me his trailer needed repairs and he was stuck at a repair shop about 2.5 hours from me. This went on all day long until he finally showed up after dark at 8:30 p.m. My car was on the bottom of an open transport. This is a nice vintage car. It was covered from front to back with transmission fluid. Literally dripping off the sides of the car. I shined a flashlight on the under side of the car above mine and there was a hole in the transmission as big as a baseball. I simply asked the driver if he'd just picked up the car with the broken transmission and he replied, "Yeah, they loaded that one with a forklift." So I asked if he'd really been out picking up cars all day and lying to me about being broken down and he said, "Well, I have a boss to answer to. Yeah." I refused to pay the driver until I spent an hour and a half washing my car to make sure there was no damage to the finish. So, a lying truck driver and now a brokerage that has sent repeated text messages at all hours asking me for references. I asked them to stop the text messages and I just got another one last night, so I decided to go ahead and post this review. I think these brokers are probably ok but they used a lousy transport service and have aggravated the #%$%^& out of me with the texts.
