Horrible company but great driver

The driver was terrific, and we exchanged contact information to do business in the future. This review is in no way about the driver but the service I received from American Auto Shipping. The representative, Mike, is highly snarky and condescending. At first, he will act as if he cares about providing quality service, but as soon as you inquire about your service, he becomes insulting. To provide a better context of my dealing with AA shipping, let me start from the beginning and highlight why you shouldn't work with this company. I first booked with this company in March for a May pick-up. During my booking period, the rep, Mike, was charming. Naively, I took this as Mike being kind, but I soon realized this is his ploy to get you to book with AA. 1) AA is not a shipping company. They are brokers. Their job is to post your car on a board at the price they locked you in, and drivers on your route can either accept or decline your car. What AA will fail to tell you is that when they book you, they lock you into a price that is so low that no truck driver will want to pick up your car within their estimated window. Here is where the scamming comes in. They will provide you a window that your car will be picked up, and they will tell you that 90% of the cars are picked up in this window, and that's the first lie. There is no evidence that they meet this rate; in fact, what they will do is intentionally place your car on the board with a low price to convince you to pay them more on the back end. They will tell you if you pay XYZ amount, a driver will feel more willing to take your car! They are trying to hustle because if you pay the extra, you are provided with another pickup window with another “90%” window that they will most likely no make. If this happens, please ask for a refund once the window is up. When you do, they will tell you that they can't refund your original payment, but they will send it via cash app or Zelle! Sign #2 of horrible business practices. However, since they do not want to lose the down deposit/return the money to your bank (which will cause a flag against their company), they will magically find a driver to come pick your car up. Beware of this company of their slick practices and their representatives fast-talking. They are running a scam, and you do not need them to ship. They will try everything they can to get money out of you or delay your pick-up services as a tactic to get you to pay more. Once you call them out, their reps will ultimately turn on you and start talking to you disrespectfully. WHATEVER you do, don't book. Call around for drivers instead, not brokers! You can cut the middle man out and get your car shipped cheaper and without the scamming. Remember, if this company takes advantage of you, call and report it to your bank! They are predators. Just know they will respond and say all of these are lies but remember to review the other negative comments, and you will notice a trend.

Customer Robyn is lying. Her car was dispatched during the listing period at the agreed upon price of $1049. Robyn is being investigated for fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud along with the carrier EBS Express Inc who we have reviewed on this site. EBS Express Inc's driver Danny received a $250 tip from Robyn and bragged exactly that to us in a text, we have turned over to investigators. As you can see Robyn also brags that she was going to do a chargeback of our fee which she did. Anyone who willfully delivers any defamatory statement about a person or corporation to an editor or publisher may be prosecuted for a misdemeanor in Nevada. The penalty for a misdemeanor in Nevada is: up to 6 months in jail, and/or up to $1,000 in fines We will prosecute libel, fraud and theft of services to the full extent of the law and we are cooperating with the bank fraud investigation. Robyn should be ashamed of herself for stealing from and trying to damage small business during these trying times.
