Like most people, we were nervous about hiring someone to transport our vehicle across the country. After all, with internet scams and the economy, it is hard to be trusting of something out there in cyberspace. We were pleasantly surprised and the process was pretty seamless. AmeriFreight's staff was courteous and professional. Right from the beginning, they made things easy. Once we established the pick up date, AmeriFreight called us with the proposal from a trucking company that wanted to bid on the "job" of transporting our vehicle across the country. The trucker arrived at our home, on time, the day that we agreed upon. He was friendly and helpful, and hoisted our vehicle onto the back of his tow truck. Off he went and as he drove away we wondered if we would ever see our vehicle again. I say this jokingly, but of course it is understandable that there is a hint of honesty in that statement as well. A few days later, the trucker called us to let us know he would be there in a few hours. He arrived at the door of our new home in Colorado with the truck all in one piece, in tact, without a scratch. We paid him and off he went. We breathed a sigh of relief. We would use AmeriFreight again if nothing else for the peace of mind.
