After did some research about auto shipping industry, i realize shipping a car is not like shipping a package or letter using fedex/ups. Unless your route is very popular or you offer a very attractive price, no one can guarantee your car will be shipped/arrived on time. I contacted a few shipping companies and i finally chose AmeriFreight because:
- It has good tracking record.
- It's BBB accredited
- It offers AFTA insurance

Used Priority Preferred service to ship my suv from new york to washington. Due to the destination is not popular, the suv is not picked up in two weeks. After change destination to a city nearby, AmeriFreight located a carrier for me in 3 days. The carrier wanted $200 more, while i only want to pay $100. AmeriFreight negociated with carrier and took money from their own pocket to make the deal. Would use AmeriFreight to ship my car again.
