I recently used AmeriFreight to transport my car from Atlanta, GA to Seattle, WA. The staff at AmeriFreight was very friendly and helpful, considering we did not know much about using a service to transport cars across the country. About a week or two before, we posted the pick up date to be Monday, October 3rd and immediately had offers for the 3rd, 5th, and 8th. We chose Friday the 8th. A dispatcher called on Thursday to notify us that the car would be picked up between 6 and 10 PM on Friday and that the driver would call an hour in advance. The driver called during the time slot to note that they were stuck in traffic and would arrive later than expected. We then arranged to have the car picked up the next morning. This was not a problem, since our schedule was flexible and we had allowed for such circumstances. The driver called early the next morning as planned, and met us to pick up the car. Estimated time of arrival was 10-15 days, and the car arrived in Seattle by Friday - only 6 days. The driver gave the person picking up the car and hour notice and arranged a place to meet her. Very friendly service...I would use AmeriFreight again and will recommend it to my friends in the future.
