Glad I switched to Amerifreight

I had a horrible experience with a different company - they didn't even start looking for a driver until 9 days after the car was available and 17 days after I had placed my order. That other company also charged way above average, didn't return calls when promised, and left me angry every time I got off the phone with them. They also offered no concessions despite these problems. I switched to Amerifreight, and I'm very glad I did. Suzette was very helpful and professional, communicated promptly by e-mail, and gave me lots of useful information. Amerifreight charged less than its competitor. When a driver still hadn't been found after 5 days, Amerifreight took $50 off its commission and offered it to the driver as an incentive. (I was also offered some other options, which would have cost more, but they turned out to be unnecessary.) There were some minor glitches - one call wasn't returned, and once a driver was found, I dealt directly with him. Amerifreight didn't actually do much more than post my request, but they did make sure the driver's insurance and service ratings were good before they arranged the transport. The driver did a fine job; I recommend Planet Transportation of Massachusetts. Amy, the Amerifrieght manager, also returned calls promptly, responded well to information about minor glitches, and seemed very prompt with follow-through. I would recommend Amerifreight to others, even if I hadn't been offered a $20 rebate for posting a review.
