Bad Communication

I paid extra for guaranteed 5-day shipping. The company did not adequately explain that this still meant it could be more than 5 days before the car was picked up. I'm not sure how this can be called a guarantee. I called and e-mailed several times in that five day period and had trouble getting in touch with my representative. After about 7 days the issue was escalated and I was transferred to someone else who was much better about communicating and much more interested in resolving the issues. I ended up having to pay about $80 extra to get the car shipped, which I didn't mind. What I did mind is that I ended up without a car for over a week because the transfer wasn't done on time.

We do apologize for any lack of communication which caused the customer to be unaware of the terms of Priority. Our Priority Preferred rate gets vehicles picked up within 5 business days. If for any reason this does not happen, as in this customer's case, AmeriFreight contributes additional money as well to help get the vehicle moved. Occasionally, some routes can be harder to ship. Our staff will do everything they can to accommodate deadlines. This person's order was handled by our Shipping Agent, Jonathan- direct line 678-369-4162
