Told a truck, got a wedge

I was told that there would be an open semi-tractor trailer picking up the load. I specifically stated that I didn't want to see a dually with a wedge trailer show up because it was snowing heavily and at least I would be least risky with a larger truck. The car is a one-off vehicle and can't be replaced. Due to the ensuing snow there were no enclosed trailers available for more than two weeks, but the car needed to be moved, so either I was going to drive there with my enclosed trailer and F250 or have a Semi take it.

A dually picked it up before I knew it she was on the road. Needless to say the dually blew a clutch on route. This brings more risk to the vehicle and my job/career.

The driver was really a nice guy, although bad at communicating until the last possible moment, but still a nice guy. The vehicle arriving fine and undamaged, but that still doesn't warrant someone else taking more of a risk with my product. I need to control the product's liability of danger, not someone's potential use of their insurance.

Sincerely,
Carl
