I needed to ship two high-end automobiles, a Mercedes Benz S600 and a BMW 330i back to California from Connecticut. I have done several vehicle shipments in the past, including motorcycles, as part of corporate relocations. This past experience has given me the opportunity to know what to expect when dealing with carriers. There are key items to consider (timeliness of the pick-up and delivery, condition of the delivery, the image that the carrier presents on either end of the journey). Shipment during this time of year made it especially important for me to feel that the company handling the shipment was responsible because there is a greater chance of damage occurring. These items were key in determining who I would entrust to ship my vehicles.

I ultimately chose AmeriFreight after calling several companies. Their customer service representatives were knowledgeable, friendly, patient - answered all of my questions without any rush. They explained the entire process, explained how AmeriFreight manages the process and their expectations. AmeriFreight lived up to their commitment of informing me of my expected pick-up, and returned my calls promptly. The interaction I had with their representatives put me at ease in the event that I would have had to file a claim. AmeriFreight prices are very competitive and they provided information on supplemental insurance that offered coverage beyond the immediate delivery inspection.

Overall, my shipping experience with AmeriFreight was very positive and I would recommend them for other auto shipments.
