I was pleased with the services of Amerifreight and would most likely use their services in the future. I experienced some issues with the carrier as I was told the car would arrive in California (from Missouri) by Tuesday but it actually did not arrive until Friday. After talking with the driver on Wednesday afternoon I was frustrated and called Amerifreight. They were quick to try and respond. In all reality they couldn't do much but calm me down, assure me they would speak with the carrier's dispatch, etc. The car finally showed up on Friday evening. The driver had called me earlier in the morning telling me he couldn't make it to my town because of the roads. I refused to meet him an hour away and he said he'd talk with his dispatch after I told him *countless* big rigg trucks come into our town daily (Santa Cruz, CA). He called back right away and told me he'd be there later that day and wanted to meet me a few blocks from my house.

In total, Amerifreight is a diligente, good customer service centered business which indeed does good work, but at the end of the day the carriers also have a great deal of control of the situation too. Our car made it to us safely, albeit very dirty with oil but I do believe the driver was a legit guy just trying to get back home for the holidays to his home state of Washington after some hold-ups in the LA area. Would I use Amerifreight again? Yes. Did they do their job well? Yes. Despite that fact, where there some hitches in the road? Yes, definitely. Was it all legitimate? Yes. Hope this helps someone out there....

As an aside Amerifreight was totally excellent with their quotes, getting back to me quickly about setting up the order, etc. I was extremely pleased with Amerifreight on that end of the experience.
