They find terrible transporters and don't help resolve serious problems

Amerifreight's job is to find a truck carrier and take a portion of the profit. What do you get for that portion of the payment? Nothing. They told me that since they are the broker, they can apply leverage to the carrier to cover the damage. They talked to him, he claimed he was going to help me. It's been over 6 months and I got nothing. Amerifreight washed their hands of everything.

Also, let it be known that this review system is biased. Amerifreight charges more up front and gives you a refund if you write a good review. I'll gladly forfeit the $50 refund to let you know how they work. That's not an honest review system.

I can't even find His Will For Us Trucking Inc (the carrier they pick) on the BBB. You have no say it in it though. Amerifreight has a responsibility to pick good carriers and this guy is clearly a scammer. I'll write a review on him if I can find him in this system or add him.

Here's the damage story in a nutshell:
The car shoudl have arrived on a Monday. It didn't. I called and they said sorry, we are broke down in Phoenix, I'll be there Wednesday. So now the rental is adding to my costs. Wednesday comes, no car. I call and he said sorry... 1 more day. He met me under an enclosure of a hotel. I asked why about scratches, he acted like he had no idea. The upper ramp busted through the back of my car. He had taken it to a body shop unbenounced to me which is illegal. Tried to cover it all up like nothing happened. BEWARE!!!! It's been 6 months and my insurance is still doing court battles but I'm out $1300 on insurance and car rentals plus the $920 for the terrible "move".

All carriers that AmeriFreight uses are screened, insurance checked, and only the top rated fully insured carriers are chosen. Unfortunately, situations can happen that are outside our control. Our management at AmeriFreight is always available to assist a customer with an insurance claim. For extra assurance, AmeriFreight customers can purchase AFTA, which covers incidentals that a carrier's insurance may not. We do not pay customers for good reviews. If for any reason a customer has a less than excellent experience, we ask that they would notify our office of the reason why and in turn they will qualify for their rebate. We are very sorry that this situation occured with our customer.
