With this being the last year of the Challenger, I wanted to pull the trigger on getting one of the "last calls" but dropping that kind of money, I was particular about what options and features I wanted. After months of not finding configurations in my region, I branched out and started to look at dealers on a national level. That changed everything! I was fortunate to find one in Michigan and when I started shopping for rough estimates to ship to Maryland, I felt okay with viewing the cost as part of the purchase price, (at least in my head). When I finally pulled the trigger, the nerves set in. Enter Melissa. For full disclosure, I originally set on another transport provider but after reading the reviews here and elsewhere, decided AmeriFreight had the edge. I reached out on a Thursday and Melissa T was amazing at walking me through the whole process. She provided comparative prices on open vs closed shipment. And since we didn't need the car picked up until early the following week, she suggested floating a closed shipment for a bit and potentially swapping that over to an open shipment as the deadline approached. Within 24 hours, she called with an offer! The car was promptly picked up from the dealer in Michigan and arrived overnight here in Maryland. The entire way, Melissa was there reaching out. I REALLY can't stress enough that I'd gladly pay for this again. I've always thought of carriers for classic cars and folks relocating. After this, I've done a 180. Purchasing a new car is no longer limited to a "100 mile radius". After having gone through this, I'd go through the same process - starting with a call to Melissa and AmeriFreight!
