I recently used AmeriFreight to transport a vehicle from VA to MO. After many hours of internet research and reading customer reviews, I reached out to AmeriFreight for a quote. My request was responded to immediately by Joy Morris. After explaining I had never had a vehicle transported before, Joy stated that even if I didn't choose to move forward with AmeriFreight, she wanted me to know how the bid industry worked so I could make an informed decision. Joy thoroughly explained how jobs were bid to carriers and each step of the process. After many questions, Joy walked me through the offer paperwork and submitted my transfer request to the bid board. Once a bid was received, Joy then walked me through the acceptance paperwork and provided information on the transport company. Joy was available for questions throughout the transport and followed up after delivery to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. GOLZ Transportation was my carrier. Although an open carrier was chosen, the driver showed up with a closed trailer and didn't charge extra! Eugene was very nice and thoroughly checked my vehicle before loading on the trailer. Eugene confirmed the estimated delivery date and that he would contact me once on route. On the day of delivery, Eugene texted me his ETA and sent an active google map that allowed me to follow his progress. This was an exceptional tool that allowed me to go about my day, knowing exactly when he would arrive! Eugene and Joy made this an easy and comfortable experience. I highly recommend starting with AmeriFreight the next time you need to transport a vehicle!
