Overall, AmeriFreight did a good job getting my car where it needed to be unscathed. However, it got a little messy in between. First, the price was above what I'd hoped it'd be but I had to be fine with it at that point because I needed the job done. Communication was good up until the day my car was supposed to be picked up. It got to be about 2pm and I still hadn't heard from the driver, so I called my customer service representative who informed me the driver was running late and now wouldn't be able to pick my car up until the next day, maybe even the day after that. This was an issue for me, as we were leaving town that day for good and moving across the country. It ended up working out but it was an added stress to have to have my neighbor coordinate the pick up for me. Plus, the fact that the only reason I knew of the change was because I had to call and ask questions myself. As for drop off of my vehicle, I was originally told that it could stay at a warehouse until I made it across the country to pick it up, as it was set to arrive much before I was going to. However, during our cross country trip, I got a call stating my car was set to be dropped off the next day and couldn't be held in the warehouse like I was originally told. So again, I had to scramble to have a friend at my final destination receive the car for me since I was unable to. They did try to resolve it a different way by saying their guy could hold it at his house in his personal locked garage...but that was not ok with me. All in all, it worked out and my car was delivered fine and undamaged, but not without added stress. Lastly, since the delivery of my vehicle, I've received multiple emails requesting this review.
