Overall was very impressed with AmeriFreight, Millie Shepard was great. However my initial quote was $925 and the first real offer I received from AmeriFreight was $1400. I asked my broker (Steve, since Mille was on vacation) to negotiate down $100, which he did. I also got $60 knocked off with the student and early bird discount. I got the impression I could've asked Steve to negotiate it down even more-- we live and learn. I paid $1,236 in the end for a Honda Fit. Other companies had all quoted me $1200 or $1300 initially so I don't think I overpaid. Very happy with Slonik Transportation for delivery, no problems with car, came in 3 days as promised from NY to CA. Rating 4 stars -- beware that you will likely pay several hundred more than AmeriFreight's initial quote. I didn't buy AFta Gap coverage.
