Fair price, offered a small discount for Nurses

I am a nurse, traveling from Brooklyn, NYC to Oakland, CA to work as a travel nurse. Shopped around for a reputable shipping company (that would give discount to nurses). Learned that there is a "middle man" company like AmeriFreight that posts your "asking" price to ship your vehicle from point A to point B and then you wait for drivers to accept your offer or make a counter offer. Maleah at AmeriFreight was easy to work with and easy to contact when i had questions. She understood my budget of $1,200 and declined a few offers that were way above it. Waited about a week for a driver to agree to ~$1,250 (this is with the RN discount included) so it was a little over my budget but agreed anyway. Picked up on a friday and it took the full 10days (the following sunday) to get my car. AmeriFreight was great but the driver who shipped the car wasn't so great. Never called me 24 hrs prior to give me estimate of time. Called me the morning of delivery and said 3pm. He didn't arrive til 630pm. He refused to drop off the car at the designated location (my house). Instead forced me to come to another location of his choosing that was 25 minutes away by car so i couldn't get there in time but my friend was nearby. Driver quickly dropped off the car to my friend and just left, without waiting for me to arrive. Driver said "if theres problem then call my shipping company." and then drove off in a real big hurry.
