In the midst of a somewhat complicated situation, I needed transportation for my vehicle from Florida to New York. I had no idea what to do, but I knew that I needed the cheapest transportation I could find (as the "complicated situation" was already costing me a lot of money). I began researching online and found AmeriFreight. I was aware that this was a broker company and that they probably had the best shipping rates. I expected mediocre customer service because of the deal I would be getting and I was okay with that. But my assumptions were wrong. Kaye was assigned to my quote and it was like talking to an old friend. She bore with me through my indecision about what to do and offered some brilliant suggestions. She quoted me a price, explained the process and what information she would need, and gave me the time/space I needed to make a decision. (I emphasize this because another company I received a quote from called me constantly afterwards, which I despise). One month later I finally had a few days off and decided to fly to Florida to assess the vehicle and see if I could drive it back to New York. When I arrived in Florida I realized that the vehicle was in worse shape than I thought. I was sitting in a tow yard, defeated, and assuming that I would be stuck in a motel for a few days waiting for an available transportation company. I called Kaye. Within a short time, she called back and had arranged transport with a company in the area. The company contacted me promptly and made arrangements for pick-up. I booked my flight back to NY, had lunch, met the transport driver, Ubered to the airport, flew home, and was sleeping in my own bed later that night. When dealing with tough stuff in life there is something to be said for having that person you can call. A full month after I called for a quote, Kaye knew who I was and worked fast to help me out. This meant so much more to me than great customer service. It was truly like having a friend on the other end of the line for support. Thank you so much, Kaye. Your service and support means more than you can ever know.
