I read the reviews on many of the auto shipping brokers. And I was told by many of my friends to be wary of brokers. I was told to go directly to the carriers. I did both but eventually used AmeriFreight. I am glad that I did. The process was easy. After I applied on line, they contacted me days later with an offer. I accepted the offer, paid the broker and had my car picked up within 48 hours by the carrier they had available. I liked having the whole process documented and I liked the additional insurance gap coverage offered. What I really appreciate was the personal service I received from Erica. She was professional, accessible and very helpful. She certainly is an asset to her company and very welcome for people like me who are nervous about having their expensive classic cars shipped across the country. Finally the service was competitively priced and the carrier selected, Gorban Transportation was excellent in shipping my car.
