I needed to get a minivan with a disability scooter in it shipped from my sister in Florida to my town in Virginia. Some carriers won't take a vehicle with items in it, so Lecia made sure she found a carrier who would take it. My brother-in-law wasn't making the pick-up easy (he was nervous about several aspects of it!), but Lecia handled the challenges professionally and we got everything worked out. The price was higher than originally quoted but it was in line with what other carriers had quoted without talking to us, and Lecia kept working to find available carriers with lower prices. The price we ended up paying was about $125 less than what the first carrier who said they could take it wanted, so if you're flexible with your dates, Lecia can save you money! I also got a $20 discount as a senior. The driver who delivered the van was professional and friendly and already had it on the ground when we arrived at the meeting place (an auto carrier can't make it into my apartment community due to space limitations).
