I worked with Ali at Ameri-Freight to ship a car from LA to St. Louis. She was upfront that the pick-up time is not guaranteed, under the economy shipping method. I was quoted an estimate of 1 – 15 days for a carrier to be assigned, after contract signing. Having shipped cars several times before, pickup and deliveries, were a nightmare. My experience with Ameri-Freight exceeded my expectations. First, I was assigned a carrier in less than 30 minutes after signing the contract. The carrier contacted me within 12 hours stating they could pickup the car. Based on prior experience, I thought it would not take place for days. I declined, and asked for a new date. The carrier offered to be in the area picking up again in 2 days. I was called in two days as stated and given a ONE HOUR window when the driver would pick the car up no waiting around wasting my time, the driver was right on time. Although the weather was bad the driver had planned to be at the delivery location on a set date and time. The night before the car was due in St. Louis the driver was contacted and narrowed the delivery time to a one hour window. As promised, he was right on time again, no waiting or wondering when the car would arrive.
