I am a professional CDL driver myself, so I did quite a bit of research about which company I was going to hire to haul an extremely clean all original low milage 1995 GMC Suburban 2500 4x4 that I bought which was located in California and needed to be transported to my home in Utah.
I researched auto transporting companies all over the internet for two days. I settled on three companies and got three shipping quotes all through e-mail. One quote came in at $1,200.00 and the other two quotes were almost the same price at $895.00. I decided to go with the $895.00 AmeriFreight quote because this was the company name that came up more than any other when searching for the best auto transporter on over ten different websites that I looked at.
I called AmeriFreight and spoke with an agent named Graham. In less than five minutes I had my vehicle shipping order completed. Graham had the shipping information he needed from my e-mail and all he needed was my credit car deposit of $300.00 to hiring them for shipping my vehicle. I completed paying them $300.00 and then they have you confirm the order through an e-mail with a few options. I was instructed to pay the driver $645.00 when the vehicle was delivered to me. One option is receiving a discount of $50.00 if you write a review of their service which I agreed to in the e-mail. I have to tell you that AmeriFreight did have a cheaper shipping option for me when I called them than the one I received in the e-mail quote. I went with the e-mail shipping service quote because the vehicle was going to be shipped faster by paying a little more. Drivers are going to want the jobs that pay more money and I was having a very large Suburban transported that not all drivers were going to want to haul vs a smaller and lighter car.
I got the AmeriFreight shipping e-mail quote on 9-2-14. I paid the $300.00 AmeriFreight deposit on 9-2-14 and completed the confirmed your order e-mail on 9-2-14. My Suburban was picked up on 9-6-14 by Mr. Strom with Armstrong Relocation lsd to United Van Lines. I spoke with Mr. Strom on the phone once and requested he contact me over the phone through texts for any additional delivery time updates and information he needed. Mr. Strom was great to deal and he kept me updated on a time he would contact me for a delivery time. My Suburban was delivered to me earlier than expected on 9-9-14 in perfect condition. I paid him $645.00 in cash and tipped him $25.00 for being so great to deal with. I am a driver and driving over the road is a tough life style. This guy deserved a tip for his excellent service.
My experience using AmeriFreight was great and very fast.
