Required greater time and cost than planned

It may be something about Central Texas, but it took much longer to locate a carrier than originally suggested, several weeks in fact. It also required substantially greater cost than estimated (close to double) to attract someone to transport my 1954 Chevy pickup. This was much more, in fact, than the extra $200 "bonus" agreed to in order to sweeten the deal. After previously giving up on another transport company (since they never could locate a carrier) I had hoped Amerifreight would be more successful. Well, they were, eventually and at much greater cost. This may have nothing to do with AmeriFreight, of course, and may be the nature of the business dealing with certain geographic locations. Just frustrating.
That said, our carrier, Daniel, was great and very helpful and friendly. He had no trouble locating us at both locations and the pickup arrived in good condition. Thank you, Daniel!
