Please avoid this company. I'm sure you will do so after reading about my experience. After receiving a quote of $650 from Graham to ship my car from PA to TX, I decided to go with Amerifreight as this was the cheapest quote I received. After speaking to Graham, he explained that they were brokers, and that the quote would not necessarily lead to a carrier picking up my car. However, he told me he "strongly " expected my car would be picked up at that price. At that point, I had 4 weeks to ship the vehicle so I wasn't worried. After a week, I hadn't heard anything from Graham, so I called him and he sounded a bit annoyed to be hearing from me. He told me there had been no carriers available yet. He then said we could increase the amount I am willing to pay to attract more drivers, however I followed his recommendation to leave the bid at $650 as he again "Strongly expected" he would find a driver soon. Another week passed, and I heard nothing from Graham, not a single follow up call or even an email updating me on the situation. I called him again, and this time I told him to increase the bid to $800 as Graham guaranteed a driver would pick the car up at this rate. With two weeks left to ship the car, I felt assured there would be no issues with getting the car shipped in time. A few more days passed, and I had still not received a single follow up email or call from Graham. Furthermore, when I called he did not answer my calls. I left messages which were never returned. At this point, with only a week left to ship the car, I began to worry. I managed to get through to another sales person in the company, who informed me Graham had been unable to find a driver to pick up the car (with his lack of customer service skills, I doubt if he even really tried) and that they would not be able to do so in the next week. At this point, I was forced to cancel my order with Amerifreight. I ended up paying another company $995 ($345 more then what I initially agreed to pay Amerifrright) to ship the car within a weeks time. I never even got as much as an apology from Graham. Do yourself a favor, and avoid falling into the same predicament that I did.

It is always disappointing to hear from a customer who is dissatisfied with our services. We are proud of our excellent reputation for customer service in the auto transport industry. Our many overwhelmingly positive reviews testify of that. Unfortunately we sometimes fall short and neglect to live up to a customer's expectations and our reputation. Every review is seen as a report card on a shipping agent's performance and will be investigated. We appreciate the candid feedback and will act on it appropriately.
