I agreed to have All Ways Auto Transport ship my 2010 Nissan GTR from LaJolla, CA to Bloomingdale, IL. When the vehicle arrived (3-Days late, no call, showed up at midnight!) it was noticed by both the transport driver and I that mechanical fluids from a vehicle that was parked above my vehicle leaked onto my car, severely damaging the paint. Their driver, Ross, admitted to me that he knew the vehicle that was parked above my car was leaking at the time he loaded the cars and that he tried (unsuccessfully) to cover my car in plastic as a result. So right there he admitted to knowing about the leaking vehicle above mine and instead of parking the $85,000 Nissan GT-R on the top and parking the clunker on the bottom, decided to do the opposite! Ross marked on the invoice that the vehicles paint was "yellowed" at time of delivery and told me to call the office the next day @ All Ways and that they would file a claim. I called the next day and they told me to get an estimate from a bodyshop and that they would submit it. I got an estimate the next day ($6,400!!)and faxed it to them and they told me that they had submitted it but that it could take several weeks!! The supervisor, Jay, assured me that he would stay on top of it and would let me know as soon as he heard something. I waited several days but heard nothing. I tried following up with them a few days later but Jay would not return my calls, Tom (the owner) was on vacation, and they would not even return my calls. At this point I decided to call their insurance agent directly (which I found on central dispatch) and had them file the claim. 2-days later the insurance agent emailed me a letter that All Ways had sent to him that said that All Ways Auto is denying that they are responsible because they can't be accountable for another vehicle leaking fluids on my car. But to make matters worse, it turns out they NEVER even filed the claim initially as they told me they had!! For the past month i have gone round and round with their insurance companies and have still never had any of my calls returned. I have left several messages for the owner, Tom, to call me back but have heard absolutely nothing. Even at best case scenerio, my vehicle has lost thousands of $$ because it will now be considered a "repaint" and will never be the same, but the absolute worst part is that this company is not accountable for their mistake and is trying to get out of paying for anything.....they won't even talk to me about it! As of today it has been 1-month since this happened and I have gotten nowhere with this company. I have contacted an attorney and filed a complaint against the Better Business Bureau and plan on stopping at nothing until this company is held accountable for this. I work for a high end car dealer and I have shipped probably 100's of cars over the years (looking back thru old records we even used this company 6 times in the last 6 months alone.) I can count on one hand the number of problems I have ever had with any of these shippers, but can tell you that every single one of those problems was handled professionally and that I have never seen service like this....ever! There are many excellent shippers out there that take pride in their work, and every company/driver I have talked to since this incident can't believe that their driver would do something so ignorant and neglect to alter a potentially disasterous situation before it occurred and can't believe that the company has the nerve to completely ignore me. Do yourself a favor and don't put yourself in a situation like mine by using an inferior company such as All Ways Auto Transport.
