Better than expected

I want to thank Justin and his team for setting up our move (two cars from DC to LA). Justin at All Day Auto Transport was completely transparent with the process. And he charged the lowest commission rate compared to the other companies. I paid a total of $1475 to move both cars. $175 of that went to All Day, and the rest I paid to the driver when he delivered the vehicles.

The driver, Peter, delivered the cars in an astonishing 3.5 days. We were the last ones picked up and first dropped off. Lucky us! Driver was courteous and in communication throughout.

At first I was a bit concerned that offering $1300 to the actual transporter was too low but Justin assured me that it was a solid offer that will get the cars moved. And it was. I actually asked Justin if we should up the bid because I needed a trustworthy driver. He said that $1300 should be fine but we can raise it a bit if we dont get a response. After signing up with All Day I had a transport company, CAA, respond to All Day within an hour.

FYI - the way this business works is that the broker will post a bounty on a board of how much you are willing to pay for getting the cars moved. Having a knowledgeable and experienced broker will be of great help here. Depending on your route, where you live, etc. will determine what you can expect to pay. In my case, I had two vehicles and had them picked up and dropped off in metro areas near freeways. This helped me.

I literally talked to a couple dozen brokers and they ranged from shady to expensive. Sometimes the shady ones were expensive. A few even posted my vehicles on the board without my permission. Justin alerted me to this the first time we spoke and it allowed me to resolve the issue.

I highly recommend All Day, Justin and his team. They are a small outfit but that means that you can get a decision maker on the phone easily, 7 days a week (just about all day). Plus, Justin, the President, previously worked for another broker for years before starting All Day so there is real experience behind your move.
