Michael (Mihai) continued to allow me to believe that my motorcycle would be picked up and transported, until 2 days before the arrival date. I signed a contract Augaust 23rd to have the bike shipped to its destination by Sept 9th. On Sept 7th, Mihai notified me that he could not ship my bike, leaving me one day to make alternate plans. I trusted him and had made flight and hotel reservations believing he would fulfill the obligation of the contract. Alternate arrangements cost me more than a thousand dollars, and much inconvenience. Mihai's response was apoligetic, but stated he was not liable, if I read the contract more closely. This was a terrible experience, and I hope others will try a more honest transport company

Dear Steve, as I've mentioned in my last email, I am sorry that the timing did not work the way you expected and you had to make other arrangements. However, there are a couple of things you should have probably considered and eventually mentioned in this review as well. First of all when you placed the order with us, your first available date for pick up was September the 1st and delivery date was no later then September the 9th. I told you that I will do everything possible to have your motorcycle delivered by September the 9th but I can not guarantee a certain time frame for pick up nor delivery. Nobody can! There can be several factors which could delay a delivery. Mechanical issues, weather delays, traffic, illness etc. In your case, first of all there was a Hurricane(Irene) going on and an earthquake in VA(last one happened about 50 years ago) which delayed most of the transporters who were operating on the East coast with at least a week. Not to mention a labor day holiday when most of the carriers would not work. Even with everything going on, I still had a driver who was assigned to pick your bike up. Unfortunately the rest of his load was canceled on September the 6th and he couldn't leave with only one bike. I called you immediately to let you know. I usually have a back up driver and I can assure you that I've done everything possible to find you one but unfortunately considering the circumstances, I couldn't find another carrier. It would not be a problem at all having your bike shipped on the week of the 12th. I even found another driver who could have picked your bike up on September the 9th You canceled the order though, therefore I was not able to finalize the arrangements with the carrier. I do understand your frustration and as I said I am really sorry that this time it did not work out the way you wanted. My goal is to have happy customers however, sometimes no matter what I do I just can't make everybody happy.
