The price was great and the pick was a little fumbled. It was being picked up at a gated community so I was very specific about the time. The driver showed up early and the homeowner wasn't home from work. The driver then went to pick up another car and came back the next day. So, the guy on the other end had to make arrangements to meet the driver twice.

On the way to Florida the communications broke down. The truck had a mechanical issue, they say, and was stuck a 100 miles away. Then he went past the town I amin and stayed overnight. Nobody could reach him and the both the dispatcher and driver spoke very broken English. It was very difficult to figure out what was going on. In the end the car was two days late but it was more the hassle of being on stand by and not being able to get a firm time on when to meet the driver.

The net is that anyone who is a broker doesn't have much control or impact over making sure the communication is good and shipment is smooth.
