I was linked with Acertus through PODS while moving and I absolutely regret it. I called on the first day of my 5 day pick-up window and was told my vehicle was not scheduled yet, so I moved the car to my neighbor’s garage since I was moving early the next morning. 2 hours later I get a call from a dispatch not with Acertus saying a driver was at my house to pick up my car, zero advanced notice. I had to call my neighbor, he drove home from work and we sorted it out. I shipped a unique, high performance convertible and paid $2260 for a covered trailer from point to point. I took a photo of my odometer before it left and checked when it was dropped off, by a guy who spoke zero English. Someone put 8 miles on my car! He couldn’t understand (or pretended not to?) and left. I contacted Acertus and was told, IF my “claim” was substantiated, I could get “$.50 a mile, or $4”. Someone took my expensive and sentimental high performance car for an 8 mile joy ride and the response of Acertus was maybe we can refund you $4. No apology, no accountability, and no customer care given for the blatant disregard of professionalism expected in the motor transport world. I will never use this company again.
