We used a broker company called Auto Plaza Transport to ship our car from Los Angeles to Virginia. They connected me with a truck driver from AMKO. The driver was so unconcerned with doing good business and honoring the time frame, it truly ruined the experience. We were supposed to receive the car on Friday Jan 4th but found out the driver was still in Arizona. We had made flight plans around the time that the car was being shipped, giving several days extra in case, and were sitting in the airport to fly home when the car was delivered.

If you give yourself a few days for problems on the road, I understand.... but saying the car will be shipped on friday Jan 4th and it not arriving until the 10th is absolutely ridiculous. I honestly wish I had the name of the driver, because HE was the problem. Our broker quite frankly, had little control over the driver. I hope they never use him again. How incompetent!

We apologize for the inconvenience that our service caused you. Our drivers do their best to honor the 7-10 days estimation. Driving across country is not easy for the drivers and depending on weather, traffic, truck problems and possibly even other customers, delays can occur. We are constantly working with the drivers to meet their scheduled times and be more consistent about it.
