We got the number from the yellow pages and called to place the order for our car to be picked up. The representative was very helpful and even friendly offering to have our car shipped in as little as 6 days. We were told that the truck driver who was transporting our car would call us before the delivery date to arrange a delivery time. We sent a 300 deposit and awaited the phone call. The day before our car was to be delivered we had not yet recieved a call and decided to make sure that the driver had the correct number so that we would be able to take delivery of our car. We called the "consumer hotline" to confirm the phone number and delivery date. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude and offered us no advice except to do "nothing" if we did not recieve a phone call by our delivery date. He also told me that he had "no way of contacting the truck driver." We asked to speak to a manager but "there was no one else we could talk to about the matter" and that we could continue speaking but that he was going to hang up the phone. It has been 2 weeks since our car was picked and it has not yet been delivered nor have we been contacted by anyone from the company. Since this has happened I have visited consumer websites and found many complaints about this particular company. Unfortunately when we called different companies to have the car transported we were limited by time and could not research companies before we made a choice. We ended up with a poor excuse for a legitimate company. Please do your research. DO NOT use AAA, Inc.
