I have never had to do something like this before, and it all turned out great. I made to sure to get several different quotes before going with this company. Make sure they don't have a terminal where your vehicle could remain for weeks before it is picked up by another driver. And make sure there is enough insurance coverage. I ended up with a company out of my home state (where the car was to be shipped TO) and they were very good with my car. The price was right for the service provided. Definitely worth every penny.
I had driven from WA to Wisconsin to handle my fathers' estate and injured myself so badly I could not drive the car back to Washington. I had broken my elbow and had to have surgery, so I took a flight home, rented a car and waited for my car to get to WA. This was during the week before Thanksgiving. All very expensive, but the safest route considering all the factors, i.e., weather, flying a friend to WI to drive me home, hotels, food, gas OR ship car and fly home and rent a car until mine arrived. What a mess.
