A Complete Con - Do Not Use This Company

I contacted this company to ship my car from NY to SC. The quote was far from the cheapest, but they seemed professional and they claimed to have a 5 star rating. I booked the shipment and was given the date for pickup and was charged $225 on my AmEX card. I booked my flight to Charleston based on that information so that I would be there when the car arrived. On the pick-up day, I stayed home the entire day waiting to hear from the driver. No call. So I started calling A1A customer service. My calls were not returned so I called the sales department. I was told on numerous occasions that Jannine would call me back in a few minutes as she was quite busy. No callback that day or the next. I don't think Jannine even exists. Just their little joke to put people off. When I got no response, I had to cancel my flight and airport rental car and lost several hundred dollars. I am now trying to book with another company and will have to re-book my flight. I have already contacted AmEx to prevent being billed for this con.

A!A is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I don't know how they stay in business. Taking a credit card number and charging for work they have no intention of performing is outright fraud. When making the booking, the sales rep, Danny Brown was pleasant and seemed professional, but they just don't perform. And they have my credit card number, address, phone number and email address!!!!

In addition to this review, I plan to file a complaint with the Department of Transportation and anyone else I can think of. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
